The Trade Desk, Staff Site Reliability Engineer, San Jose, CA, (August 2023 - Now)
First SRE hire to build out the infrastructure and prepare Ventura TV OS for global consumer launch. I’ve built out infrastructure layer by layer: storage, compute, networking, multi-regional replication for resilliency and low latency. Designed the observability and telemetry system with off the shelf components. Then added LLM-assisted layer of monitoring and incident response on top so that agents could effectively investigate and resolve the failures autonomously with verification checkpoints, which enabled team to confidently ship features to the customers in controllable experiments and gradual rollout that allowed my team mates to focus on product evolution and designing high-level deliverables.

Planned and delivered the engineering processes to provide 99.99% availability and latency reduction over content delivery networks for 17Gbps media workloads. Reduced the costs of operation by 20% by improving the load-balancing mechanism between CDN providers.

Created automation tool set for on-call and operations work for the SRE organization. Implemented metrics collection mechanisms for internal and external applications to increase observability, reliability, and resilience in operations. Redesigned Certificate Management software in the company to create, provision, renew, and manage internal and external endpoints.
